Ingredients:
2 cups ground cooked ham, about 1/2 pound
1/2 cup cheese crackers, finely crushed
1 egg
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
4 large potatoes,peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Combine ground ham, crushed crackers, egg and barbecue sauce together. Shape into 6 patties.
2. In a skillet saute potato and onion slices in butter and oil over medium heat turning frequently to prevent browning. Drain and place in slow cooker.
3. Combine milk, cheese and seasonings and pour over potatoes and onions. Layer ham patties on top.
4. Cover and cook on LOW 3 to 5 hours.
