Ingredients:
5 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
16 oz sour cream
16 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Bacon bits (optional)
Butter
salt and pepper
Directions:
Boil peeled potatoes, cool and dice. Put small slice of butter in bottom of crock, add 1/4 of cooked potatoes, salt, pepper, 1/4 sour cream, 1/4 shredded cheddar cheese and start layers over. End the final layer with shredded cheese. Keep cooker on low all day. This comes out tasting just like a baked potato and will feed a crowd of people.
Yield: 12 to 16 servings.
