Slow Cooker Short Ribs


Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 pound beef short ribs
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled
  • 4 medium carrots, pared, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, optional
  • 1/4 cup water
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
