Slow Cooker Apple Butter


5 lbs. apples – peeled and sliced
3 cups granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 cups apple cider
4 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves

Cook the cider and sliced apples for 25 minutes in a large pot. Press through a sieve. If you do not have a sieve, process the apples in batches in your food processor until they were very smooth. Put the processed apples in a 5 or 6 quart crock pot and add sugars and spices. Cook on high without lid for 7-8 hours. Seal in jars
